Pet for Life
Our PassionThere is no greater love than that of a pet. We have a simple and effective process designed by people that have years of experience connecting adopters and their pets. Feel free to browse the pets we have featured here and send us a message so we can chat with you about any questions you have. Whether you adopt from us or not, we would love to hear from you.
About Us
We have wonderful people that are committed animal lovers. Many of them have made it their life‘s work to help dogs and cats through rescuing them from public shelters, finding them foster care in shelters, becoming skilled at training and also therapy and also finding adoptions in forever homes where there is love and a long term stable environment where they can thrive and be happy.
We have some guiding principles that we operate under. Firstly, we adopt to people who share our values that a pet is for life. They adopt, and commit to caring for the dog for the life of the dog.
Secondly, we have a strict no-kill policy. The adopter agrees that if there is a major medical problem or any other type of problem, they do not euthanize the dog. If they cannot manage the dog, they return him to us and we provide palliative care and look after the dog, rather than euthanizing. Our adoption contracts include this as a legal obligation. Most importantly, our adopters share our values about no-kill, so that makes working together easy. Finally, our commitment to support our adopters and their dogs is lifelong. You can expect us to be responsive and helpful for the entire lifetime of the dog. Whatever the challenge, we will be there.

What We Do

Rescuing Animals
Dogs that begin on the street, often are caught and put into a public shelter. They are often euthanized after 14 days. We manage to rescue some of them from there, saving their life.

Spay & Neuter
This is vital, and is usually done soon after rescue so that the dog does not become pregnant, or cause pregnancy. This reduces the number of strays, and that means a better life for dogs everywhere.

Finding A Home
Shelter life is only intended to be a brief stopover for our dogs. The life they deserve is a loving permanent home- and love. The sooner we find a caring adopter, the dog goes to the life they need.
Money, it matters
The truth is money makes a huge difference. There are dogs alive today, saved from euthanasia in public shelters, well fed, given life saving vaccines and a caring home- because someone made a donation. All these things cost money- we are never shy about asking for donations- they are life saving. See also our “Heroes” section. I list people there that are well beyond most organizations in their love for dogs and the sacrifices they make to care for them. They are not part of this NGO, but I know them and I am absolutely moved by their example and love. You can see their story and their payment information in that section to donate direct to them. Our Heroes are all people we look up to, and try and be like. I can promise you their stories will stay with you for your entire life.
Adopt or Foster
If you find your pet here and adopt them it can mean a lifetime of happiness. We provide any support of information that is needed, we are never more than a message or phone call away. If you are not ready to adopt, if you foster a dog at home – you have made a big difference to that dog. It means instead of the dog being in a shelter they have a warm, comfortable home with people that love them during the period we look for their adopter. It costs nothing, and having a loving dog in their home is usually a bonus for many people. Finally, in many cases, people have had the joy of a wonderful dog because a friend shared the profile of the dog with them. If you do this for a friend- you have been instrumental in something really good happening.
